We prepared “architecture kata” in Codewise, taking three groups of very bright people, with a broad expertise in Java and gave them a problem where they had to deal with a graphical interface.
They enjoyed the workshop, and said that the graphical interface was a punch below the belt. So –
according to plan.
Thanks for coming! And thanks for the recommendation:
An interesting training course which opening your eyes to many aspects of architecture, which we
do not want to remember every day: the whims of the customer; time constraints; implementation
costs, and many others. Thanks to working in small groups anyone could play a role that goes
beyond their everyday duties: the tester designed, the server developer planned user interface.
Integration of people usually working in different teams was an added value – I did not expect it.
